We believe in keeping things simple, so we've written our privacy policy, our terms and conditions, and our cookie policy in plain English — so you can actually understand what you're agreeing to.
Why we need your information
While you're free to browse our website and blog without giving us any personal information, we need to take some details about you to sign you up to our newsletter, to process an order, or to create a wedding website for you.
We never ask for things just to be nosy. (Well. Not in this context anyway.) We don't need your blood type or your great grandparents' favourite borsch recipe. We'll only ask for the information we need, like your name, email address, and billing information.
We will keep this information, securely, both to operate our service for you and for our own records, so we know if we're making sales!
If you would like your identifying information, like name and email address, to be removed from our records, just ask.
How we'll use your information
We're not creepy. We'll only use your information to operate our service for you.
We may have to share that information with some trusted third-party services we use — for example to send emails, SMS messages, and process payments. And, if we're asked to share it by a court order, we will. (We're goody two-shoes.) But we'll do our best to keep it safe and we'll never sell it.
Your guests' information
We have an optional service on our wedding websites where you can send SMS or email messages to your guests through our system. We need to be given their phone numbers or email addresses to do this.
We will never contact your guests without your direct say-so and we'll never send them a message you haven't written — we will only ever contact them on your behalf.
We will only keep your guests' details on our system while your website is running. After your website is offline, we will remove your guests' details from our database.
Contacting you
We may need to contact you about your stationery order or your website service. While you can optionally choose to receive tips and advice from us — and we will only sign you up to our advice newsletter with your explicit say-so — we may contact you about your order or service regardless of this, including by automated emails.
We'll never contact you asking for your card details. (Or that borsch recipe.) If you receive anything that looks suspicious, please let us know.
Cookies
To be able to operate our website and our service for you, we need to store some information in cookies on your computer. You can see our cookie policy here.
Your security
While we'll do our utmost to keep your details secure, you are also responsible for your own security. We ask you to use a strong password you haven't used on another website, and not to stay logged in on a shared computer, to help keep your details safe.
